I love this stained glass coloring book. The images are very pretty and nicely rendered. The color schemes are very pretty. The pages are perforated and single sided for easy removal. There are a lot of pages to color as well. The numbers are pretty light. I don't have any trouble seeing the numbers, but they are light enough not to be too annoying. They will probably show through pencils and lighter markers, but I don't really see any alternative as you don't want the numbers too light to see or too dark either.
I love this book!! It’s easy to color, you can use colored pencils, water color pencils, markers or gel pens. Images are beautiful! Sooo relaxing! Hoping they create more of these!
Deborah Muller is a pretty good illustrator but, she tends to leave an off a lot of color numbers out of her illustrations
I love color by number for stress free coloring and the zen doodle series is great. Only issue with this Stained Glass and the Playful Pets book released in October is they both claim on front cover to have tear out pages/perforated( the Sea Life book did) but neither books pages are perforated , other than that they are great. The color key is same for all 3 books, 36 colors and they are named. Pictures are fun, colorful and pretty easy to do in one sitting and look nice when finished. I attached pictures. Also a good value as well for price paid.
the book was smaller then I thought it would be and you had to watch what markers you used because the way the paper is made it stays wet and will smear
I liked the pictures very nuch. It was fun to color them. It was difficult to get each page of the book. I called about a month ago to ask if there were any other books like these available to buy but I never received a call back! I also liked the fact that Crayola colored pencils with 36 count was used!
The colors of the sea life and animals made everything seem so special.I didn't know which one to do first.
The butterfly color by numbers book...well I was very disappointed in it. It was missing like 8 pages they were all blank!

Maybe it's a good book? I don't know. But $39.99 for a 192 page kindle book is too much.
David Guttmann does a fine job of taking philosophy, logotherapy, and real life issues we will all face in old age and painting a very optimistic outlook on our second half of life. He provides other perspectives that value self responsibility and free will. As a social worker working with the elderly, I really appreciate his approach and empowering outlook on growing old. I think it is a must have for anyone going into gerontology or working with older people in any profession. It is certainly applicable to all adults as we will all be faced with death at some point.

This is an adorable story with illustrations that are bright and cheery adding so much to the story. It would be great if the pictures and writing was on the same page or if the story was written in a bigger font.For an e-book some work needs to be done for it to be more enjoyable. The writing is tiny on the page (even after trying to make it bigger). Because of this, I am giving it a lower rating.I was gifted an ARC in return of an honest review.
Wizzy Woo and the Pirate Adventure is cute story, appropriate for reading aloud to preschoolers, and independently for 1st & 2nd graders. The illustrations are vivid, well drawn and appealing to young readers. Boys will enjoy the cats’ mischievous antics. Bivitt is funny. Everyone needs that friend who ‘keeps it real’. Pirate Adventure is good as a standalone book but I like the fact that it’s a series. I had the opportunity to preview the book via Hidden Gems - ARC. However, I opted to download the kindle to share with my grandson.
My kiddos loves this book! I think it’s most appropriate for 4 and up but my 3 three old did enjoy looking at the pictures! Great story line!
Kristin's kitten and his friends sneak a ride in her bicycle basket so that they can share her treasure island adventure. They end up accidentally finding a treasure – and making an even more shocking discovery. But, cat-like, they are much more interested in the picnic chicken! This is maybe a five-minute bedtime read, or it would be if you didn't stop to look at the pictures, which would be a pity. The art is cartoony, vigorous and striking with strong colors rather than pretty or cute (not that Wizzy Woo isn't very cute!) and with many details to look at. The text is simple and lively with lots of conversation, mostly between the cats, and a sprinkling of more unusual words.I received an advance reading copy and this is my voluntary review.
This is the second book I’ve read by these authors and I must say I am not disappointed. Wizzy Woo and his friends are an adventurous group of felines that decide to tag along on their owners day trip. They find themselves deep in a hidden cavern that leads to an unexpected discovery.The illustrations are bright and very attractive to readers of all ages. The dialogue is snappy and simple enough to be read by primary school students and engaging enough to keep very young children involved in the story as it unfold. Oh, and adults will enjoy it as well! ðŸ‘ðŸ¼Another winner by Ms. Hopkins and Mr. Benham.I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this title.
This is a sweet children's book that I was given for free to read and review. I have a two year old grandson who loves books but also has a very short attention span if the story isn't interesting he's bored. This book kept him intrigued from beginning to end. I mean who wouldn't want to go on an adventure with your cat friends looking for pirate gold. The illustrations of the cats and their adventure fit perfectly with the narrative and he followed along easily. The story was fun and fluid and he was ready to see what happened on each page. This is the second book we have read from these authors and I highly recommend them for young audiences of new soon to be readers.
This book is a such a cute take on a treasure hunt! Wizzy-Woo and his friends are just plain adorable. The story is done well and moves smoothly. The illustrations are colorful and really bring the story to life. One of the reasons I like Helga Hopkins books is they convey a subtle message and this is no exception. While going on this grand adventure gets them in a pickle they have to work together to get out of it! This book is perfect for young children. I highly recommend this book! Helga is one of my favorite children's authors. I voluntarily read this book from ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Wizzy Woo is the cutest darn cat! I read Hopkins & Benham previously with Captain Blownaparte books and wase not disappointed again. This is a cute tale of Wizzy and his friends who hitchhike on a family trip with Wizzy's owners. They get into some mischief but in the end everyone is happy, rewarded and safe. My grandkids loved the book as it held their attention with pictures and the story. I absolutely LOVED cranky Bivitt :) Would love to see some of his adventures..HINT HINT HINT!! I would definitely recommend this book for you to read with your children or for them to have themselves.

The questions were gleaned from public appearances, the Internet, and the author's experiences with his two children. The basic advice is sound: to examine one's inner self, to think before speaking or acting, and not to do things that one will find embarrassing later. While most of the material is likely to resonate with parents, some of it may not. For example, Chopra says that teens 16 and older should be able to experiment with drugs and alcohol, and that after one drink or one pill...the vast majority of kids will walk away of their own accord. Parents and other adults are also sometimes made to seem uninformed. The book's organization, not just by chapters and subheadings, but also by the use of repetition, transitions, and other language conventions, is exceptional. Checklists, self-surveys, sidebars, and adages abound, and cartoon illustrations appear throughout. The book centers on questions Chopra has received from teenagers in person and online. The topics are divided into subjects such as success, well being, relationships, and God. The book is at its best when Chopra is explaining his spiritual philosophy, one that transcends organized religion and focuses on the underlying connectedness in the world and on the everyday miracles pervading life. Less successful are Chopra's efforts to give teens social advice. For instance, to make friends, he suggests, "Walk right up and say, 'I'd like to be friends,'" though in the next sentence he acknowledges that this might be too bold for some (ya think?). The ink artwork dotting the pages is rather crude; a more interesting format would have helped. Still, kids interested in the topic may be drawn by Chopra's name. Chopra captivated me since the first pages. I got it for my niece but after my own experience with the book, I decided to give it to her Dad first. There is time when our kids will get out of the shell and be exposed to the world. Chopra helps us to approach our kids to answer questions before they ask someone else. Moreover, that is a tool to review our own questions even though I didn't agree with some of his answers. I think that Chopra gave me answers too.
Deepak Chopra has a gift of writing from the heart. He relates so well with the Teens and older people. He presents a profound message with clarity and simplicity. I highly recommend it. Sister Rose Therese
