I found this book in an eclectic shop in Essex, CT. I instantly fell in love with Juniper. This is not a children's book but simply for everyone. The photos by Jessika Coker (who adopted and raised this wonder) are stunning; her writing is engaging. You are taken into the unique world of living with a fox who will captivate you. This is a must for anyone who loves foxes, animals in general, extraordinary photography, surprises, a good read, a story you will never forget. It details the journey of a young woman and a fox who learn from each other, form an incredible bond, and how that has changed their lives. Jessika's warmth, understanding, and love of Juniper will touch your heart; Juniper will amaze, delight, and inspire you. You will finish the book and want to give a copy to everyone you know if only to share Juniper's smile.
I have been looking forward to when I would see this book in my mailbox. It was worth the wait! Not only is this a beautiful book for its pictures but the back story and the writing are perfection. Awesome book! Jessika included plenty of photographs that we've come to love of Juniper, Fig, and Moose. It was heartwarming to read their story, and it was a fun surprise to have Juniper's art at the first and last pages.
I was expecting this just to be pictures of Juniper, but there's actually pictures of Moose, the sugar gliders, and Fig! It's very well made and I love having it sit on my coffee table for guests to flip through. The inside of the cover is beautiful with Juniper's "masterpieces", and I loved the quotes included throughout the book. I'm obsessed with Juniper, so obviously I love this book!
I just recently ‘found’ Juniper and I watch the torn pillow video every day! It makes my heart so happy, and my dogs hear her little noise so often, they don’t even raise their heads anymore. I ordered a Polaroid of Juniper, and I can’t wait for it to come in! This book is PERFECT!
I absolutely LOVE Juniper. Her instagram is one of my coping tools for a bad mental health day. I love watching her, Fig, Moose, and the rest of the family. When I heard Jessika was releasing a book, I got really excited. As soon as I had the money for it, I bought it. It was a quick read for me, but it was worth every penny.
