I’ve never watched or read 50 shades of gray, but I wonder if the Darcy’s intimate relationship takes their cue from that. This Darcy was the “abusive†kind but in the way that Lizzy loves. Interestingly, underneath the role play he's still a gentle and attentive lover and husband.This story (apparently a set of short stories) pretty much includes most sex acts you could potentially think about. Erotic smut it definitely is.I have an open mind and do enjoy these stories, but this is a big no no for those who place the Darcy’s on a pedestal of purity and such. Or this may even be too much for those who may like the sensual love scenes but maybe that’s it. This story is sex from beginning to end.This story experiments with BDSM, orgies, and I think the one that really made me wince was the threesomes with Darcy, Lizzy, and Wickham. Let’s just say Lizzy really “gets filled.†And those types of scenes have always made even me of the open mind uncomfortable. There was also a confusing story in which Lizzy and Darcy switch partners. Um, okay.This story isn’t for everyone for sure. And yet I will probably read the sequel when it’s released. Curious I definitely am.
I will start by saying I only read 50% of the book because it is totally implausible. This book is as far from Jane Austin as you can possibly get. I didn't have a problem with it being one kinky sex scene after another even though they never would have happened between Lizzy and Darcy in Victorian England. I didn't even have a problem with Lizzy and Darcy not resembling the characters from Jane Austen's novel.I DID have a problem when all of a sudden Darcy was friendly with Wickham again. Then when Darcy set up a threesome which included him, Lizzy and WICKHAM I had to stop reading.This book is ludicrous and an insult to Jane Austin's memory. I'm not a prude but I would have to be insane to believe this book represents the future life of Lizzy and Darcy. In no way do the characters in this book even begin to resemble the characters that have been beloved for almost 200 years.An erotic book is fine but DO NOT try to make money off of characters who are some of the best and beloved in literary history with trash that doesn't honestly reflect who they are. You will really turn off readers who love those characters. I'm one of them.I have to ask, did the author even read Pride and Prejudice? I highly doubt it.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I came across this book on some random search, and since it combined smut and P&P, I figured I'd give it a read. I have to say, I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. Yes, there's a lot of kinky sex, and not a ton of character development, but the scenes make up for that, and is what one generally expects with erotica.The author was *very* courageous to put this out there... The characters of Darcy & Elizabeth are sacred ground in a lot of people's minds, so to have them do what they do in this book, well, it takes a very open mind for the reader. I like to think I have am open minded, and yet there was one chapter I had a hard time with in the middle. But the chapters following didn't include that situation again, so it didn't detract too much from my enjoyment of the book.II look forward to the sequel!

I don not particularly like Mr Darcy in this story - in the beginning he is too commanding and a little of a sadist. I prefer also the Mr Darcy to be the jealous type who won' t be willing to share Elizabeth with anyone (esp not with her arch enemy- just doesn' make sense). If he wanted a threesome he might have asked Mr Bingley or his cousin Fitzwilliam. There was also a gathering that I was confused why Mr Darcy was entertaining someone else and I guess Lizzy was with someone else too and they meet after.I guess I have a little fixation on certain traits of ODC , that's why it was a bit hard to accept some of the scenes/situations in this story.If the characters were probably named different, I might have not been bother by some parts of this book. If you like a very erotic story, then you might like this. If you are like me, erotic stories are okay if it is depicting the tenderness/affection of the characters for each other then you may not like this that much.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was the first time reading this authors work and I really enjoyed it ,cause it was sooo sizzling hot from the start of the book all the way to the very end.I couldn't put it down once I started reading it,it was soooo good.*Spoilers Tag* Shes a virgin and she's getting married to the man she fell in love with,but she's worried about how to please him and herself in the marriage bed later,what to do.Her older sister stops by and gives her some naughty books ,she says will help,but to hide them you don't want the help to see them.When Fitzwilliam takes her later that night 8ts like nothing she ever thought it would be,it was sooo much more.And he has so much to teach her about making love and enjoying it.And he shows her his naughty book collection, plus some other things they can both enjoy to.And on the way she asks him to please help her sister by talking with her husband about how to please her sister in the bedroom to.He don't ,but he asks a friend to do it and it really helps her sister and her husband to really enjoy each other in the bedroom to.And its just soooo sizzling hot so I hope you all enjoy it to.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I just finished reading Steadfast Book One. As usual David has done an outstanding job of drawing you into the story. It did not take long to get totally invested in the characters and the trials they are going through, and the heartbreak also. Without giving away part of the story I was totally taken by surprise on one major event. The overall story line is so believable you start thinking about what you would do in a situation like that. I certainly was not ready for it to end and am looking forward to Books Two and Three.I received a complimentary PDF copy of Steadfast Book One for my review. I was not required to give a positive review, only my honest opinion, which I have done.
I saw this book in someone's feed. Whether on Goodreads or another social media site, I'm not sure. I downloaded. I'm glad I did. Steadfast is part one of a series about America's Last Days. A virus has taken out most of the population. Oh gosh, I'm so glad that so far, there's no zombies.The main character, Eric Radner is reminiscent of John the Baptist in that he found the Lord (or the Lord found him) in the woods. He's been by himself for five years and the Lord has honed him during that time. Now, he is faced with interacting with people again, and being more than a survivor of a epidemic. Now he is called to be something more. There are some sad moments in the story but that adds to the grittiness of it.I can't wait to read the next installment.
I've just finished this novella and it was, as always, another good read by David Telbat. It was quite realistic and perhaps what could actually happen in our not-so-distant future. I like the length - shorter than a full length novel so I can finish in 1-2 days without neglecting other things that need to be done, like we just moved!
Good plot, but the book is very short and neither the characters nor the plot is given much development. Almost as though the author is in a hurry to get to the conclusion. However, the book is an easy read with good grammar, which is often lacking in these self-published novellas. All in all, worth the 99¢.
Loved it. D.I. , You have written an amazing story in this book and continued with book 2 and 3 of this series.I love that this main character Eric (AKA Mad Man ) carried and used a Bolt Action 223. They are greatfun shooting rifles.Eric Faith in the Lord was awesome. I am going to be reading more of your books.Thanks for taking the time to write these books.Take care,Bryan
Mr. Telbat has presented an interesting take on the age old theme of blaming and murdering Christians for the sins of people who stand against God. The character presentation is good, the premise is interesting, and the plot is improving with the turn of each page. Looking forward to the next "book" in this series.
Interesting story with some twists that you aren't expecting. Wished there was more details at some points sometimes things seemed wrapped up too nicely. Overall enjoyed it that it wasnt to graphic or vulgar
Since going thru a season of struggle it was wonderful to be reminded that God is almighty & loves us so much, spares us. God is in creation & available to all in need. Well, the book is good, but it could be better. I loved some parts of it, such as the chapters about epidemiology and women. But other subjects were a little bit dry. Still recommend it for those taking principles of community health. Just make sure to have a peace of paper to write down the most important dates when it comes to public health improvement.
I needed this book for college and had good information about the general population in the country.
I loved this book, well as much as someone could love a textbook. I really enjoyed the course that went along with this book. It helped me fall in love with the field of Public and Community Health. This book is an incredible resource for those interested in learning about what they can do to really help their community, and what needs to happen for the eradication of certain public health crisis. Great read.
